I offer a FREE 5 min video countdown. It is video footage of tulips shot this week in Holland, with ESV text of Luke 12. Gentle music is in the background. Mp4 format: 46.8mb - 16x9 format. Shot in HD, but compressed to MP4 in order to make it available.

Using a video countdown at the beginning of services sets the mood for worship, plus gives our workers the ability to know exactly where we are in our service. It allows us all to be on the same page. Additionally, those watching live video streaming of the service know when the service begins.

Possibly someone is inspired. With that intent, I share this quick video.

On Sunday, February 9th, our church crossed a major milestone in our history - we installed Noël Kachouh as executive pastor. While I remain the senior pastor - my responsibilities and gifts lie in the visionary direction of the body, Noël will focus on teaching, small groups and volunteer workers.

Oils, herbs, spices, antiques, carpets, leather goods - all the ingredients to put a smile on the face of a wife. And so it was with Debbie - priceless, if you ask me.

Narrow, covered shopping streets with individual shops. All the vendors suddenly have become my "good friend". Bartering is the standard - a learned skill. The vendors are relentless: "What is your best offer?" They counter, attempting to squeeze just a little more out of you. Even when I walk away, the deal is not done. They chase me down and realize that it really was my final offer.

People matter to God and therefore they should matter to us. The first commandment is to love God with your whole heart and the second is like it: love your neighbor. Jesus kept attempting to live that out and we still have a hard time getting that into our whole being.
