Every summer I generally find a little more time to read, which is so refreshing. This is the book that has me captivated at present.
"The Power of Habit” by Charles Duhigg
This is a book that I have thoroughly enjoyed. The author has researched and compiled anecdotes and stories that will help everyone to understand the cycle of habits and how to break their power - personally and organisationally.
Behind every habit is a powerful reward and root that feeds the need. It is generally not the addiction to nicotine, but to something else entirely. Understanding these desires is helpful.
"We know that a habit cannot be eradicated—it must, instead, be replaced."
