While another potential candidate has decided to take another offer, still yet we are hopeful that the right person is already prepared by God for this ministry to reach self-governing status and become fully indigenous. This is a strong reason Germany needs additional churches and church planters - the laborers are few.
My next emphasis for the body is adding additional small groups and small group hosts / leaders. This has generally been an excellent platform for additional growth as well as the nucleus building strong ties.

FOUNDATION

In our inaugural year we have been allowed to partner with some amazingly dedicated church planters. Initially, we have 6 church planter families, who have planted 7 churches this year. They have also seen 400+ souls commit their lives to Jesus for salvation, and 160+ people followed in believer's baptism.
At the end of the year our ultimate goals formed into a clear target - to ultimately partner and fund 20 church plants at any one time (for a two year commitment - with the goal of the church plants being self-supporting). Should this play out - we would reach the lofty goal of planting 20 new churches every two years for a total of 100 in a ten year period - in perpetuity. We are so thankful that God is doing something beyond our dreams in this journey.
A short missions trip to Uganda is in the early stages of planning for this summer. A man from our church desires to accompany me on this trip.
