MEN'S BREAKFAST
Early in July a group of me invited other men to a Saturday of food and fellowship - seeking to pour into each other's lives and establish deeper bonds.
I has been exciting to see men take initiative in shepherding one another.

FIRE PIT FELLOWSHIp
A group of people have designed an evening of worship, food and fellowship with the intent of addressing a need in our culture. Culturally, church life is a ritual, but rarely creating opportunity for establishing relationships.
These evenings establish better families, and address the biggest felt need of our culture: loneliness.
After all the planning and preparations, the weather changed and the evening was rained out. That is the constant in Germany: rapidly changing weather.

CHURCH PLANTING
Togo: Pastor David reports: We have two people who have received salvation and have asked to be baptized. I have started a new soccer league and rugby at the church. We haven't started a new church yet, but I'm helping other pastors start their churches. I have already scouted out the location for a new church plant.
Uganda: We have vetted and added 5 new church planters to our team. It is so exciting to receive reports of lives being changed by the gospel. Great commission partnerships have been a worthy investment. Pastor Gerald has been planting without salary support and informs us that from January to July 2024 - 205 people have accepted Christ and 74 have followed in believer’s baptism.

MISSIONS LIFE
Attrition: Rarely is it addressed publicly, but financial partners do reposition their investments in kingdom causes with time, when their situation requires. While this does not alter our mission, sometimes it requires being stateside to offset the loss of funding. Allow me to express our continued gratitude for your financial partnership - allowing us to focus on what really matters - spiritual impact in lives.
Repairs: Just as experienced by everyone everywhere there are breakdowns in things. We are having to replace a gas heater at present. Additionally, a recent storm demolished a chunk of exterior wall stucco of our residence. I address this simple to draw attention to the fact that while we focus on spiritual matters, daily life can often bring its own challenge and requires attention and creative approaches in secondary cultures and building settings.
