When I read that a church plant in Romania had experienced a burst water pipe in the building hosting their church, I asked a Romanian family in our church if we could take a quick trip and encourage them. Our church has gifted this ministry the funding to replace all the damaged areas.

It was during this trip that I asked David to go with us. He gave his testimony and was struck with the joy of being used by God to share the story of forgiveness and joy in Christ. We are now addressing his desire to consider entering pastoral ministry.

This is one reason we invest in short missions trips.

Our growth group continues to meet multiple times per week. It is a joy to seek new people join in. This group started with one person in September 2023 - it is now a meeting with 6 to 8 people, depending on work schedules.

One of the regular questions posed is: What do you sense is your next step in spiritual maturity? This desire for personal growth and resulting transparency has provided for deep relationships among those attending.

Pastor David in Togo reports of continued growth and ministry opportunities. They are continuing to persue the potential of planting a second ministry and expansion to neighboring villlages.

I have been able to continue talks with a ministry in Uganda and presently await further information on expanding to include funding five church planting families in that country.
