CHURCH SEASON
The fall is usually a busy time for us in ministry. For whatever reason, people return from a summer vacation, ramp back up for the new school year and there is a natural upswing for us as in church attendance with new faces and new families. The six-week school break hits us hard with an overall 33% drop in average attendance. Then, the fall sees our attendance rebound and add another 15-20% in added growth. With that comes new responsibilities, new conversations, and challenges to meet.

DISCIPLESHIP GROUP
Starting six weeks ago meeting with one man - a new convert - for discipleship and personal growth in his new faith, has now grown over six weeks to a group of six people that meet for bible study and prayer. Two have followed in believer's baptism and two men actively seek a personal relationship with Christ. I love these meetings - watching the excitement in their eyes charges my batteries, even when the meetings go past the 4- or 5-hour mark.
Presently we are also participating with fellow believers in our city who are committed to prayer 24/7. We seek Christ's face via repentant hearts and humble spirits asking him to visit our city with a fresh outpouring of grace.
