Our church in Germany has had the greatest pleasure to send missionaries. Not just participate financially in other ministries, but actually equip and send families to other cultures. Does it get any better than that?
Sending churches have responsibilities and we want to take ours seriously. Part of that is praying, cheer-leading, coaching, supporting.
Along with Ingo Kopsieker, a leader in our church, we enjoyed the hospitality of Marian and Maria Kozak, who minister in Alytus, Lithuania. Hanging out together, enjoying an meal together - it is time well spent.
This former Soviet state is seeking to redefine its identity. Beautiful, modern and quite safe, at the same time people do appear to struggle with life's challenges. The food is great, we laughed a lot.
Tomorrow I will share some of the images from this church.
