I am going to collect portraits of people while in Cambodia that made my heart happy and attempt to tell their story here. Along with Roy Montero and Jan Krohn, the missionary from our German Church, we went to visit and encourage the network of church-planting pastors in southern Cambodia - all the way to the Thai Bay. Along the way we went into one of the forested jungles.

This pastor went through a painful process of being exposed as a pastor who misused funds, but through brokenness began to rebuild trust and was restored. He now has been removed from that original church and has started a new church and builds trust with character and accountability.

I am not married yet, but God has given me favor with many children to teach English and I have already seen a few place their trust in Jesus. My desire is that Jesus would give me a large group of Cambodian people in this region to pastor.

My husband loves the people of this area and since God has graciously given us a beautiful building and home, we have now gather a small core of people together. It is difficult for me to be separated from my children who must live elsewhere in order to be properly schooled.

Because of outside encouragement at the proper time, our marriage is better than ever before. Together we run a school for 100 students and I pastor this new church.

I was born with deformed fingers, but have given them to Jesus. (he has become and accomplished musician who leads worship at the jungle church he's planting. - Editor: What is holding you back?)

His wife knew she would not find a ring to wear to signify her love, so she gave him a golden wedding watch, which he proudly wears.

I am asking God to give me ten families in each of the three villages where I minister in order for them to become the core of each new church plant.

We have seen God supply financially for our needs as our son was born cesarean section. We are blessed with a lively young boy.

After spending the entire day traveling, we met this couple after dark, who minister in a village, where they are routinely attacked with rocks during worship services. The neighbors use sound equipment to drown us out during services. But God. The owner of this property has allowed us to use it rent free to live and plant a church. Now we have purchased property and look forward to building our own dedicated worship facility.
