Passion for church planting

At 17 years of age, I knew that I desired to plant churches in Europe. Some 40 years have passed and that is still my greatest joy.

Many different skill-sets are required to reach out and adopt another culture - a few of which are flexibility, humor and a never-give-up attitude.

Within these pages you will find some of our stories, see some of the sites that we enjoy as we travel to encourage those in the task of planting churches in Europe, plus visit those that our church has sent out around the world. May you also be inspired to be passionate about serving Jesus and others.

Missions trip photos from Lubin, Poland

All Photos: Keith Gandy

I love to spend time inspiring church members for the great commission. Originally, it was scheduled to serve an orphanage this month in Africa that our church has financially supported - in the Ivory Coast. Scheduling difficulties forced some quick changes and we ended up in Lubin, Poland.

A church plant is launching into a full-blown step of faith as they seek to build a building to house a couple hundred in a main auditorium, plus rooms for ministries and even an english school which is a great platform for creating relationships.

Here are a few of my favorite photos from that trip. Most of the photos are from contacts from their church, but a few are from city scenes or evangelistic contacts I made in a park.

Probably the grouchiest appearing priest I have ever witnessed.
